Yes. We are the creator of this word.
For easy explanation: pronounce “Butterfly Effect” 10 times faster and you’ll get BLECT.

Butterfly Effect (see Wikipedia), a butterfly flapping her wings in one continent could cause a tornado in another over time. An astonishing concept that BLECT inherits in it mission statement: we are mere butterflies here to do what we do with good deeds, knowing that the greater good would sooner or later come to sweep us all off our feet. It’s the idea and action that matters! We in BLECT, live and work by this principle.

Why We Blect?

The Internet breaks all barriers and geographical constraints in communication of mankind, allowing all to live under one roof and proudly pronounces ourselves as “earthanian” (we would like to use the conventional term - Earthlings, only when chatting with E.T. ). This is the place where BLECT calls home.
The WWW is where BLECT invest immensely on time, effort and vision. BLECT believes in the World Wide Web as a maturing media of our time and our time to come where the impossible is possible and the only constraint is our mind. With the emergence of WEB2.0 states a new era of the Internet. And in its arms where AJAX, Mash-up, the Long Tail, Blogs,Forums and so much more lies and combines forces to make the Internet even more interesting place to be at. Would you miss it?

BLECT sure knows the answer and knows that we can’t afford to because the FUTURE is here! However, it is the value of the services provided to its users that matter the most. We treasure our relationship with our users ’cause if you don’t feel good, we don’t look good.

Nevertheless, BLECT is a philosophy embraced not solely by us in BLECT, but by all who believe in a little gesture of good deed can bring great changes for the better.

 

Butterfly Effect (蝴蝶效应)是由一名天文学家提出的。
当蝴蝶轻拍一下它艳丽的翅膀，竟引发地球上某一角落掀起飓风！
简单而言，这只蝴蝶很渺小，但借着一个微小的机变，却令日后产生极大的影响！

而BLECT的存在，就是基于这个理念应运而生。
我们相信，凭借小小的力量，足以牵动人心，感染社会，成为潮流的主导。

网路是通往世界的一个重要渠道，促进人与人之间的沟通。
BLECT的存在，目的是确立网路的服务价值(INTERNET SERVICE VALUE)。
这个价值非指金钱上的价值，而是透过互联网的方式为大家服务，并引证网路是个多用途而生活上不可或缺之媒介。
同时，BLECT会以网路为基地，紧贴潮流，展示社会众生相，并尝试用新思维解决社会上各种问题。

说到网路，当然少不了WEB2.0。 BLECT注重以互动性为主的WEB2.0，即促进时下年青人在网路上的沟通，如透过部落格或网上留言广场自由发表其所观所感，百花齐放。

但是，人固然要向前看，BLECT定必力求上进。所谓不进则退，我们的目标是达到WEB3.0，4.0，5.0 。 。 。甚至更多。 。 。
虽然WEB3.0至少仍未有正式之定义，但我们可概括为BUSINESS APPLICATION THROUGH ONLINE，不只于沟通互动，更向商业应用进军！

BLECT的成员于社会打拼多年，虽未至不惑之年，唯甜酸苦辣均曾涉猎，对人生的看法自然别有洞天。
切勿误会！ 「BLECT型人」绝非吸风饮露的神仙。凡夫俗子，毕竟得靠收入维生，但追求和实现理想却占我们人生的八十巴仙！

BLECT is not a single being, but a collective talents of four individuals each playing their respective roles to realize BLECT’s Philosophy. Think of BLECT as the infamous Portuguese Man O’ War. Together, BLECT shall float like a butterfly and sting like a queen bee, to bring BLECT’s Dream home before dinner.

J - The Idea Man

BLECT’s frontman, also known as Dreamer. J spends most of his days contemplating new ideas and strategies to making them come to live. It was J’s impressive talent in sewing up missing pieces that gave birth to BLECT. With a brain that operates 24/7 and highly effective in all condition, J makes the world his oyster.

BLECT总舵主，号称DREAMER，兴趣是把梦想变成真实。
众人皆醉他独醒，使命感特强，强调突破，看世界别有洞天，时有崭新IDEAS杀你一个措手不及。
「蝴蝶效应」启蒙运动先锋，胆色过人，抗拒随波逐流，勇过神风敢死队。

Zero - The Magician

A conjure man of BLECT Magic, Zero is a core polyps of BLECT. Leading the development of BLECT projects in a graceful yet progressive manner, Zero speaks in human language but thinks in binary 1s and 0s. He is hardly beaten by technical obstacles, and is highly motivated by new challenges. Not to forget, this techie eats bugs (in technical terms), for breakfast! Zero is highly reliable in making the impossible, possible.

HOW - The UI Geek

HOW develops great interest in all things beautiful. With his proficiency in the subject of Human Computer Interaction, he make sense out of communication between man and machine. HOW strongly believes that “if we can’t use it, we don’t want it”. Working closely with his tech lead, Zero, HOW provides UI platform in BLECT projects.

歌坛红人兼地下乐队主唱，专辑多达40张。人气爆灯。
「BLECT型人」中的表表者，漫游于千变万化的网路世界，负责促进人类和电脑之间的互动，
笃信「HIC」(“human computer interaction”)之理念，根据人类心理模式和电脑化系统进行分析研究，
